When complete, what will the intersection of Queen Creek Road and Existing
Ellsworth Road look like, and what will the traffic flow be there?
The easiest way to describe this
is as though you live at Queenland Manor since that can provide both
perspectives (coming from Queen Creek Road, and coming from existing
Ellsworth Road). And this may make more sense if you also view the
site plan page.
If you were to drive out of the Queenland Manor subdivision onto
existing Ellsworth, you can go south and take the existing
Ellsworth as you always could. If you drive out onto existing Ellsworth and
want to go north, in order to get to Queen Creek Road, you'll have to go
north slightly, get on the Ellsworth Loop Road north connector, and then
take the Ellsworth Loop Road north to the intersection of Queen Creek Road.
You can also go north on existing Ellsworth from Queenland Manor, however,
that will only provide access to the schools (Youngster U and QC Middle
School) and the San Tan Historical Society Museum. (There will be curbing
for the transition of Ellsworth Loop Road to the intersection of Queen Creek
Road and Ellsworth Loop Road, so you won't be able to go any further north
than that.) In a sense, the road will "dead end" before the Queen
Creek Road intersection.
If you were to drive out of the Queenland Manor subdivision onto
Queen Creek Road headed west, you'll arrive at the intersection of
Queen Creek Road and Ellsworth Loop Road, you can take the Ellsworth Loop
Road to the south, or existing Ellsworth Road to the north.
